The official Namco Museum teaser site open for business today. You can access it here. It currently doesn’t have much, but it does reconfirm the lineup of games included such as Pac-Man Vs. Expect more content on the page in the weeks ahead.

Introduction
– Zelda: Breath of the Wild sales at 2.76 million units on Switch
– Zelda also sold 1.08 million copies on Wii U
– Total sales for Zelda at 3.84 million
– Switch sales at 2.74 million units during the most recent fiscal year
– Mario Maker and Kirby were well-received on 3DS
– Pokemon GO has helped sales of past Pokemon games; hardware sales up outside Japan
– On mobile, Mario Run and Fire Emblem Heroes well received
– NES/Famicom Mini also did well
– amiibo sales dropped due to lack of new games
– Assets increased by 172 billion yen
– Debt has increased by 82 billion yen, secondary assets up by 90 billion yen
– Nintendo focused on increased the populace’s access to Nintendo IP
– Working on growing game hardware & further establishing smart device biz
– Outside of games, USJ Super Nintendo World and other efforts are being made to increase appeal to past and future Nintendo fans
– 3DS sales surpassed 66 million
– 3DS software sales are on firm ground

Switch SDK documents indicate save data transfers are coming, Nintendo considering “Guest Login” feature

One of the big feature requests Switch owners have at the moment is the ability to backup and transfer save data. Thankfully, this is something that Nintendo was apparently thinking about before the system even launched.
The full Switch SDK leaked online today. We’re not really going to discuss it much here, but a couple of excerpts from official documents are worth pointing out.
The first concerns a save data transfer feature that will be released in the future:
In the future, we plan to provide a feature to transfer account save data among multiple consoles. As a result, there is the possibility that user accounts with uninitialized account save data will be added. Note that your design must work without issue, even in this case.

Super Bomberman R update out now (version 1.4) – Konami characters, new VS stages, more

Super Bomberman R users can download the game’s latest update. Version 1.4 began distribution tonight.
Tonight’s update is highlighted by the inclusion of new Konami characters – specifically Vic Viper Bomber, Simon Belmont Bomber, and Pyramid Head Bomber. Four new VS stages have also been added to the shop along with two new series of accessories.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update out now (version 1.2.0)

Update: Patch notes added below. Pikmin racing suit added for Pikmin-themed amiibo, several changes and improvements.
OriginalNintendo just started to distribute a new update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. If you have the game, version 1.2.0 is now available.
Nintendo has not yet published the patch notes for today’s update. We’ll add them in here when we have them.

Culdcept Revolt pushed back to October

Update: NIS America confirmed the delay, and said it’s “to accommodate the manufacturing and production of the game.”
Original: Culdcept Revolt was originally planned to arrive in the west in a couple of months. NIS America had dated the game for August 29 in North America and September 1 in Europe. Unfortunately, it now appears to be facing a delay.
The latest Culdcept Revolt trailer issued today shows a new October 3 release date for North America. As for Europe, the new date looks to be October 6.
We’ve reached out to NIS America to officially confirm the delay.

Rick and Morty coming to Rocket League, confirmed for Switch

Psyonix has teamed up with Adult Swim and Adult Swim Games for a new partnership within Rocket League. As part of the game’s second anniversary update, players will have access to free customization items. Rick and Morty will be available as Antennas, along with ‘Cromulon,’ ‘Mr. Meeseeks,’ and ‘Mr. PBH’ Toppers, an ‘Interdimensional GB’ Rocket Boost, and ‘Sanchez DC-137’ Wheels. The ‘Cromulon’ Topper can drop as a Painted item as well.
Switch owners won’t have to worry about being left behind. On Twitter, Psyonix confirmed that the same content will be distributed on Nintendo’s platform.
