Nintendo’s latest maintenance schedule for the week of July 2, 2023 is now available. As of now, only one session has been penciled in officially. This will affect the Nintendo Switch Online voice chat functionality.

The full maintenance schedule for the week of July 2, 2023 is as follows:

Pokemon Unite Umbreon, Leafeon

Original (5/10): Three more creatures have just been confirmed for Pokemon Unite – specifically Umbreon, Leafeon, and Inteleon.

Umbreon will arrive first, and is planned for May 25, 2023. Leafeon will follow on June 8. While we know that Inteleon is planned as well, a specific release date has yet to be provided.

Fire Emblem Heroes update 7.7.0

Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have announced the next update for Fire Emblem Heroes, version 7.7.0.

The game is adding new skills for a Legendary and Mythic Hero, the lineup of Limited-Time Combat Manuals is being updated, new weapon skills and weapons will be available, and more.

The official patch notes for the Fire Emblem Heroes version 7.7.0 update are as follows:

Guinivere: Princess of Bern has been revealed as the next Legendary Hero in Fire Emblem Heroes.

The character is voiced by Erika Harlacher and has art by Asatani Tomoyo. Her learnable skills include Radiant Aureola, Iceberg, Spd/Res Finish 4, Null C-Disrupt 4, and Bern’s New Way.

Mario Kart Tour Night Tour

Mario Kart Tour continues to roll on, and has now revealed its Night Tour which will feature N64 Mario Raceway, GBA Luigi Circuit, and GCN Waluigi Stadium. Look for it to go live on June 28, 2023 following the previous event, the Mario vs. Luigi Tour.

Fire Emblem Heroes Summer Longing

Fire Emblem Heroes just revealed a new Summer Longing summoning event. It will include Shez: Mercenary Shine (voiced by Dawn M. Bennett, art by yamanokami), Ephraim: Sunshine Valiant (voiced by Greg Chun, art by PenekoR), L’Arachel: Summer Princess (voiced by Carrie Keranen, art by Fuzichoco), and Shamir: Heartbeats United (voiced by Allegra Clark + Laura Post, art by kainown).

Players can count on Shez having the skills Surfer’s Spire, Glimmer, Swift Slice, Lull Spd/Defense 4, and Atk/Def Menace. For Ephraim, the lineup is Seafoam Splitter, Bonfire, Atk/Def Clash 4, Sunlight Bangle, and Alarm Atk/Def. L’Arachel is able to use Seaside Parasol+, Recover+, Earthwind Balm+, Blade Session 3, and Wrathful Staff 3. Finally, Shamir’s skills are Partnership Bow, Deadeye, Remote Sparrow, Brash Assault 4, and Fatal Smoke 3.

Switch Online app update 2.5.0

A new update was released today for the Nintendo Switch online mobile app, with version 2.5.2 being made available for download. 

The patch notes for this update are as follows:

Three new courses will be arriving soon in Mario Kart Tour. Additionally, new racers and costumes are also on the way. Mario Raceway, GBA Luigi Circuit, and GCN Waluigi Stadium will all be available as part of the event. The fun begins on June 14, 2023. Here’s a trailer for the Mario Vs. Pokemon Unite update

The latest update for Pokemon Unite has been made available with the title moving up to version

Players can now use a Prize Machine, save and play replays, and more. Several more Pokemon balance adjustments have been implemented as well.
