Anima: Song from the Abyss

Anima Project today announced Anima: Song from the Abyss, an action RPG based on the role-playing book saga and a follow-up to Anima: Ark of Sinners and Anima: Gate of Memories.

Skater XL

Easy Day Studios has announced that community created content will be available in the full launch of Skater XL. Players will be able to access a trio of maps made by community members: ‘Streets’ by Jean-Olive, ‘Hűdland Training Facility’ by Pactole, and ‘Grant Skate Park’ by Theo. Each map has been given visual enhancements by Easy Day’s art team in collaboration with the map creator.

Endless Memories

Homunculus Games today issued a new trailer for its 2D action-adventure game Endless Memories. We’ve included the video below.

Endless Memories is due out on Switch later in 2020.

Puzzle-platformer

The puzzle-platformer Dodo Peak will make its way to Switch on July 31, publisher Screenwave Media and developer Moving Pieces Interactive announced today. It’ll be sold digitally via the eShop.

Ageless

Team17 and One More Dream Studios have nailed down a release date for Ageless. The puzzle-platformer will launch on July 28, the two companies announced today.

A Dark Room

The text adventure game A Dark Room will be updated today to add a Game Boy-inspired aesthetic, matching the recent Japanese release, Circle Entertainment and Amir Rajan have announced. The patch is going out in North America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand.

Jump Rope Challenge

Nintendo provided another update on the success of Jump Rope Challenge at its 80th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders late last week. Since launch, the downloadable title has recorded over 590 million jumps.

On June 18, the game was at 200 million jumps. That was achieved after Jump Rope Challenge released on June 15.

Dex

Dex is a game we covered way back in the day. The story-driven action/stealth side-scrolling RPG was funded on Kickstarter, with a Wii U version included. Although it’s probably safe to say that we won’t be seeing Dex on Nintendo’s older console, it will be getting a release on Switch – and very soon at that.

A listing on the eShop reveals that Dex is making its way to Switch on July 24. QubicGames will be publishing on behalf of developer Dreadlocks.
