Switch eShop

On December 10, Switch owners will be able to get their hands on the “shoot-and-slash” dungeon crawler Riverbond. For a look at some footage, check out the video below.

Fortnite is gearing up for a new event in which the game will give a first look at a scene from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Those that are interested in the movie can stop by the game’s Risky Reels drive-in theater on December 14.

Look for the doors to open at 10:30 AM PT / 1:30 PM ET / 6:30 PM in the UK / 7:30 PM in Europe. Then a half hour later, the actual video will play. And if that wasn’t enough, director J.J. Abrams will apparently make an appearance.

The Touryst

Digital Foundry is featuring The Touryst for its latest technical analysis. Though it’s not as highly publicized as Nintendo’s own titles, Shin’en has churned out a very impressive Switch game.

DarkDes Labs’ hand-drawn RPG Drawngeon: Dungeons of Ink and Paper is coming to Switch, according to an eShop listing. Drageus Games will be publishing the title on December 13.

SNK’s new Samurai Shodown will be appearing on Switch in early 2020. While we wait for the game, fans can save on a few classic entries in the series.

Hamster has discounted three Samurai Shodown releases under its ACA NeoGeo banner. Samurai Shodown, Samurai Shodown II, and Samurai Shodown III can all be had for $3.99. Normally, they’re priced at $7.99.

The Samurai Shodown eShop sale will be live until December 18.

Nintendo has shared new data revealing the top top 30 most-downloaded Switch games in North America for November 2019.

Fortnite is again #1 this month. Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, which are new entries, appear in the top ten.
