Artifex Mundi has provided a look at gameplay from the upcoming satirical adventure game Irony Curtain. You can watch it below, which also confirms that Peter McConnell is a part of the team and composed the main theme.

A Dark Room pulled from the Switch eShop due to hidden code editor

A Dark Room made it to the Switch eShop earlier this month. It didn’t stay up long, as it has since been pulled from the store.
We’ve seen some games leave the eShop only to return later, often due to ratings-related issues. In the case of A Dark Room though, it’s unclear if the game will ever become available again. That’s because its creator included an “Easter egg” that allows players to create basic apps, which publisher Circle Entertainment wasn’t happy about.

Venture Kid Switch pre-sales have already surpassed Steam lifetime sales

Venture Kid hasn’t gone on sale for Switch just yet, but the game is doing very well. Publisher Entertainment says that pre-sales of the retro-action platformer on the eShop have already surpassed Steam lifetime sales.
Venture Kid is due out for Switch via the eShop on May 2. If you pre-order the game, you can get it for $7.50 instead of the usual $10 asking price.

European Conqueror X hitting Switch on May 7

My Nintendo is celebrating the launch of BoxBoy! + BoxGirl! with a couple of new rewards. Members can use their points on a May calendar and a new wallpaper.
If you’re interested, both of these rewards can be found on My Nintendo here. They require 50 Platinum Points respectively.
