At TGS 2018 Kogado Studio announced their next visual novel, Yume Utsutsu Re:Master, releasing in Japan on February 19 for PlayStation 4, Switch, PS Vita, and PC. The Switch version will be digital only. Keep reading for a description of the game courtesy of a translation by Gematsu and a trailer.

Blue Blood Lagoon heading to Switch

At the Tokyo Game Show today, Cosen announced that it’s bringing Blue Blood Lagoon to Switch. The company is working with Erotes Studio on the port. No release date yet, but it’s targeted for 2019.
Blue Blood Lagoon is a visual novel “about youth and romance during the Chinese Civil War”. We have more details from Steam below, along with a trailer.

SEGA Ages – Sonic the Hedgehog footage

With the first SEGA Ages titles launching for the Nintendo Switch eShop today in Japan, NintenDaan has posted some early footage of the original Sonic the Hedgehog on the platform.
The demonstration shows off a bit of the setting that players may customize their game with, as well as the format of viewing the classic platformer.

Developer Pelikan13 has released yet another bit of footage for their upcoming side-scrolling beat-em-up Switch title The Takeover, this time in the form of an official English trailer. Inspired by classics like Streets of Rage and Final Fight, the modern title features fast gameplay as well as an extended combo system.

Pinball FX3 will be updated to exclude the game from Nintendo Switch Online

When Nintendo Switch Online started yesterday, many games required a membership in order to play online and access certain elements through the internet. Pinball FX3 ended up being one of them, but not intentionally.
Right now Pinball FX3 requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription in order to participate in tournaments and other online features. However, developer Zen Studios says an update has been submitted “which will mean no online subscription is needed for any Pinball FX3 feature.”
