Manticore – Galaxy on Fire dev confirms no microtransactions, frame rate / resolution details, more

Manticore – Galaxy on Fire, a space action game, was announced for Switch this week. In one of our own posts, the project’s lead designer actually left a comment and shared more details about the game.
One big confirmation we have is that Manticore won’t have any sort of microtransactions. We also have information about how the game runs in terms of frame rate and resolution, and more.

Candleman will be ported to Switch

Spotlightor Interactive has confirmed plans to port Candleman to Switch. Producer Gao Ming says it’s “perfect for handheld gaming consoles”.
Candleman features puzzle-platforming gameplay. You’ll play as a small candle “who can burn for only 10 seconds, and venture through an unsettling darkness of challenging levels with a smooth difficulty curve.”

Membrane out next week on Switch

The North American Switch eShop shows a new game from Perfect Hat. On February 22, the studio will be releasing Membrane.
Perfect Hat says Membrane “is a creative-action puzzle game in which you build, bend and break the world around you while experimenting to create your own solutions.” We have more information and a trailer below.

A ton of different games are on sale currently on the North American Switch eShop. Capcom started a sale on Resident Evil Revelations 1 and 2 today, as did Tom Happ with Axiom Verge. Other titles are discounted as well such as NBA 2K18, Tumblestone, forma.8, and much more.

Totes the Goat on track for early March release on Switch

Atooi announced last month that Totes the Goat is coming to Switch. Thanks to a listing on the European eShop, we have a release date. It’s nailed down for a March 1 launch – which we assume will be the same day for North America.

Radiation Island due out on Switch next week

Previously released on mobile and Steam, Radiant Island is now coming to Switch. The European eShop has it down for a February 22 release.
Radiation Island is a first-person survival adventure game set in an open world environment. The premise is that, as part of the “Philadelphia Experiment”, you have become stranded in a parallel, alternate reality.

Steredenn: Binary Stars coming to Switch next month

Steredenn: Binary Stars is on the way to Switch, Pixelnest Studio announced today. Even better, the game already has a release date of March 8.
While Steredenn: Binary Stars previously released elsewhere, the shump/roguelike mashup has been significantly expanded for Switch. In addition to new content, the game has reworked balancing, scoring, optimization, and more polish.
