Thank Goodness You’re Here is heading to Switch, publisher Panic and developer Coal Supper announced today. Fans will be able to check it out in 2024.
The game is officially described as a “comedy slapformer” that’s set in a bizarre Northern English town of Barnsworth and has you playing as a traveling salesman. You’ll see the sights and meet the locals who will you a series of increasingly odd jobs.

Original: Publisher Marvelous Europe and developer Primal Game Studio today announced Mandragora, a story-driven side-scrolling action RPG set in a universe of gorgeous paint strokes and inevitable tragedy. The project is in development for Switch and other platforms.

1995 game Gourmet Warriors making a return on Switch

QUByte has released a number of classic games on Switch, and that continues with Gourmet Warriors. Originally launched in 1995, it’ll now be hitting Nintendo’s current console on August 31, 2023.
Gourmet Warriors initially debuted as Gourmet Sentai Barayarou for the Super Famicom. In 2019, it finally received a proper western release in English for the SNES.
Chants of Sennaar release date set for September, new trailer

Original (4/19): Chants of Sennaar has secured a final release date. The puzzle adventure title is lined up for September 5, 2023, Focus Entertainment and Rundisc confirmed today.
Chants of Sennaar was first announced for Switch last April. We knew it was planned for 2023, but we didn’t have an exact date until below.
Thunder Ray, retro-like arcade boxing game, coming to Switch

Purple Tree has announced a new project Thunder Ray, and we know it’ll be appearing on Switch. Currently it’s targeting a 2023 release.
Punch-Out!! has been missing in action for quite some time, but Thunder Ray could fill that void. It’s a retro-like arcade boxing game that promises a “modern twist”.

Greek mythology has been a popular inspiration for video games for some time now, with both AAA series and indie titles placing us into the world of the pantheon of gods and their various conflicts, which are typically resolved with violence. Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical brings with it a different approach, giving us a modern-day setting and challenging us to resolve our differences through the power of song. The result is something that probably won’t be winning over the hearts and minds of those averse to breaking out into song with the flimsiest of excuses anytime soon, but will have anyone else singing its praises.
