There is an abundance of Metroidvanias on the Switch at this point, and it can be difficult to stand out from the crowd when some of the most critically acclaimed titles in recent years are your direct competition. Clay Game Studio’s Faerie Afterlight feels like a unique and noteworthy experience thanks to its truly stunning visual design and excellent terrain-based puzzle platforming, but ultimately falls short everywhere else, making it a hit-or-miss experience at best.

Little Goody Two Shoes out on Switch this month, new trailer

Today, publisher Square Enix and developer AstralShift unveiled the release date for Little Goody Two Shoes. Switch owners can pick it up on October 31, 2023.
Little Goody Two Shoes was previously confirmed for Switch at the end of August. The two sides did not provide news about launch timing back then.

Ratalaika Games, along with, ds-sans, announced today that they’ll be releasing Chemically Bonded on Switch this week. It will be available on October 13, 2023.
Chemically Bonded is a visual novel in which players “become entwined in the dispute between two neighboring female students.” Further details can be found in the following overview:
