Metal Black S-Tribute isn’t the only new reveal from City Connection today, as the company has also announced Puzzle Bobble 2X / Bust-A-Move 2 Arcade Edition & Puzzle Bobble 3 / Bust-A-Move 3 S-Tribute. PC will be getting it on February 2, 2023, but it remains to be seen if this applies to Switch as well.

Puzzle-platformer Backpack Twins available on Switch now

Publisher AMATA have announced that Backpack Twins is now available on Switch via the eShop. Originally released for other platforms last year, the single player puzzle platformer has made its way to Nintendo’s console, and will see players swapping between twin characters to solve environmental puzzles.

Sang: The Desert Blade, top-down action RPG, confirmed for Switch

Sang: The Desert Blade has been confirmed for Switch thanks to its success on Kickstarter. During the campaign, over $60,000 was raised. That’s despite the fact that Fiskyfisko was only seeking about $13,000.
In the game, players will follow Sang who is looking for her long lost kin. As a Blood Seer, she’s able to see world ending events as well as her own demise. At one point she wakes up from one of her visions and herself in Meziskal, a long lost town of distant dreams. Sang will look to figure what happened to outer world and her kin.
Fast-paced platformer Neon Souls out on Switch this week

Later this week, Neon Souls will be dropping digitally on Switch. This one comes from publisher Ratalaika Games and developer Pickles Entertainment.
Neon Souls, which originally launched at the end of 2021, is a fast-paced platformer. We have more information in the following overview:

The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow, folk horror adventure, releasing on Switch this month

Today, publisher Wadjet Eye Games and developer Cloak and Dagger Games announced The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow for Switch. It will be out on January 25, 2023.

Untold Tales and Wilboy Studios are back with another trailer for ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree that shows off the game’s characters. You’ll play as Estra, the daughter of mankind’s last great leader. The game focuses on narrative, so you’ll meet plenty of characters along the way.

Turn-based RPG Absinthia confirmed for Switch

Absinthia, a turn-based RPG, was funded on Kickstarter a little while back having raised just over $20,000. The game was also confirmed for Switch thanks to the crowdfunding success.
Absinthia is a traditional Japanese-inspired RPG. It’ll have a MP system for faster-paced combat, team-based attacks, and no random encounters. Difficulty options will also be included. The soundtrack, composed by Jazz Stewart, promises “a modern take on some of the greatest tunes from the SNES era of JRPGs”.
