July 12: It’s been a while since we last heard about Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake, which Koei Tecmo revealed last year with an “early 2024” release window. Today the developer announced that the title will finally be releasing digitally via the eShop on October 24.

Bloomtown A Different Story trailer

Coinciding with this week’s launch, Twin Sails Interactive and Lazy Bear Games uploaded a launch trailer for Bloomtown: A Different Story. The narrative RPG, inspired by genre icons like Persona, made its appearance on Switch this week.

Hidden in My Paradise release date

Ogre Pixel has passed along a release date for Hidden in My Paradise, its cozy hidden-object game about taking photos and decorating. The title will be out for Switch on October 9, 2024. Crunchyroll will be publishing.

Hidden in my Paradise comes from the same developer as Lonesome Village and A Tiny Sticker Tale. Both of those titles are currently available on the eShop.

Picross and the Rising of the Shield Hero

Jupiter is readying yet another Picross game for Switch, this time having announced Picross and the Rising of The Shield Hero. It launches on October 3, 2024.

This time around, Jupiter is collaborating with an anime. The Rising of The Shield Hero will be featured with familiar characters and more.

The World of Kungfu: Dragon and Eagle

ChillyRoom is putting its new game The World of Kungfu: Dragon and Eagle on Switch, the developer announced today. A release is scheduled for October 24, 2024.

The World of Kungfu: Dragon and Eagle is a multi-route wuxia RPG set in the chaotic times of ancient China. Players can experience an engrossing story taking a novice fighter through the challenging path of martial arts mastery.

September 14: Brawlhalla is still alive and well, and it was revealed today that Mega Man will be the next crossover for the game. This will be going live on September 25, 2024.

Thus far Ubisoft and Blue Mammoth only shared the initial announcement with a brief trailer. Aside from the Blue Bomber himself, it looks like Rush and Beat will be represented.

Thronefall

After a stint in Early Access (where it saw huge success), Thronefall is seeing its full launch and is also now coming to Switch. Look for the title on October 11, 2024.

Thronefall is a minimalist strategy game about defending your little kingdom without unnecessary complexity and with a healthy dose of hack-and-slay. New content and improvements have been implemented have been implemented since the Early Access period.

Camp Sunshine

Camp Sunshine is seeing release on Switch, publisher Hound Picked Games and Fossil Games have announced. The title is slated for October 9, 2024.

Camp Sunshine, a 16-bit horror RPG, has players taking on the role of Jez. While at camp, he’ll need to get to the bottom of a slasher mystery.

The Bridge Curse 2 The Extrication release date

We now have a release date for the Switch version of The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication. PQube and Softstar Entertainment are teaming up and will be bringing it out on October 24, 2024.

The first-person survival horror game was previously confirmed for Switch at the start of the year. Originally though, we were only given a vague 2024 launch window.

Here’s some information about the game:

Hamster will release Blast Off as the latest Arcade Archives game on Switch, the company announced today. A worldwide release is planned for September 26, 2024.
