Helix Descent N Ascent

Badass Mongoose today confirmed that Helix: Descent N Ascent will be heading to Nintendo Switch. We don’t have a release date just yet, but it’s planned for Q2 2026.

Helix: Descent N Ascent is an atmospheric puzzle adventure game that has players exploring a world that evokes the dichotomy of light and darkness. It features a monochrome artstyle, which draws inspiration from 1980s black-and-white indie comics, 1990s manga, and 1970s Franco-Belgian comics.

We have more information in the following overview:

After the Wane, a new game produced by Nova-box, has just been confirmed for Nintendo Switch, with a planned release window set for late 2026. The title is an interactive graphic novel that follows the developer’s signature style, blending magical realism, hand-illustrated panels, choices with sinister consequences, and a beautifully crafted soundtrack.

In the game, players step into the role of Lena, a young woman trying her luck as a dancer in the city. Caught in the middle of a rivalry between dance companies, dealing with love, heartbreak, and the challenges of adult life, she must also confront a mysterious voice inside her head.

The latest Nintendo Switch eShop charts for the week of January 24, 2026 are now available.

It’s a fairly quiet week this time around with the top three staying the same, meaning it’s still Animal Crossing: New Horizons at the top. One notable game though is Dispatch – it’s cracked the top ten with pre-loads alone.
