Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD no longer planned for Wii U, but that could change

It’s been a very long time since Oddworld Inhabitants and Just Add Water made their plans known about Wii U. As you may remember, the two companies originally hoped to bring Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD and Oddworld: New ‘N’ Tasty to the eShop.
We found out earlier today that New ‘N’ Tasty is still on track for Wii U. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said of Stranger’s Wrath HD.
Oddworld Inhabitants told one fan on Twitter today that there are “no current plans” to bring Stranger’s Wrath HD to Wii U. The studio did at least say that the status could change in the future.
@RockNRogue1 no current plans for Stranger's Wrath. That may change, but it's not on our radar right now.

New information about Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night was revealed during Microsoft’s Gamescom 2015 media briefing. Creator Koji Igarashi took to the stage to provide a first look at a new character.
At the moment, the new character (pictured above) does not have a name. We know that he’s a demon hunter, and he fought the demons that first come to Earth during an attack that occurred ten years before the game begins. Igarashi confirmed that he’s a dual-sword wielding hero. Additionally, the character uses Japanese ofuda spells to fight enemies.
