Cube Life: Island Survival version 1.3 details, footage

Earlier today, we heard that a new update had gone out for Cube Life: Island Survival. The game was updated by Cypronia to version 1.3.
We now have some details as to what the patch entails. New features have been added while some bugs have been addressed.
The following information about the update is in:
– Skin Editor
– Internet Rankings – Friends list
– 500 items are now available! New items like bed
– Japanese decorations
– Upgraded AI of enemies
– Autojump on terrain, from water, on boats
– Autoswim + dive button
– improved game stability
– smoother Look sensitivity
– improved collision with boatsBugs fixed:
– levitation on the boats
– fixed AI for fish (out of water bug)
– fixed bucket bug
– enemies can see you through glass/window
– unbreakable blocks removed
– TNT explosion does not remove drops

Super Star Soldier hitting the North American Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow

Super Star Soldier is the next TurboGrafx-16 game releasing on the North American Wii U Virtual Console. According to Nintendo’s website, it’s due out tomorrow.
We have the following overview:
“Super Star Soldier is a classic, vertically scrolling shooting game. The Special Attack Squad, led by the Mother Brain, has launched an all-out invasion of the Earth. Take your small-scale fighter, the Neo Caesar, with its arsenal of 4 regular weapons and 2 special weapons, and send them back where they belong!”
Super Star Soldier will cost $5.99.
Cube Life: Island Survival updated to version 1.3

Cube Life: Island Survival has a new update available, as we’re hearing reports that version 1.3 can now be downloaded. Specifics about the patch aren’t yet known, however. Previous updates have added in new features / elements, so that’s likely the case here as well. We’ll let you know when we have actual details.
World Sports Competition hitting the European Wii U Virtual Console tomorrow

The Turbografx releases on the Wii U Virtual Console continue this week. In Europe, World Sports Competition is confirmed to be launching tomorrow.
The news comes from Nintendo of Europe’s site, which provides the following overview:
“Play through a total of 18 sport events in this action/sports title. Players compete in six categories of events that include shooting, archery, rowing, swimming and track and field.
The game features several modes, where you play all the events over the course of a few days or where you can choose individual events to play.
Depending on your play time and ability, you can enjoy the game a number of different ways. Gather friends and play in competitions with up to five players to get even more out of this great game.”

Animal Gods hitting the North American Wii U eShop on Thursday

It was back in 2014 when we first heard about Animal Gods. Still Games funded its project on Kickstarter, and promised a version for Wii U.
Animal Gods ended up releasing towards the end of 2015. About a year and a half later, it’s finally launching on Wii U. A listing on the eShop shows a date of April 6.
We have the following overview:
The Animal Gods have fallen. Once sacred, they are now husks—haunted beasts lost to toxic fumes from a great bronze industry. Play as Thistle, a small & agile warrior hellbent on destroying the curse that plagues these creatures. Wield a 17th century BC Bronze Sword… and set the Gods free.

Cloak of Flame
Dash / warp through toxic-maze like rivers. Dashing moves Thistle a fixed distance over a fixed amount of time and upgrades to The Long Dash.Map of The Unholy
Lets you choose dungeons in any order. Journey to the Gardens of Gwyn, the Halls of Eynd, and the Coast of Syn. Find the weapon and weapon upgrade in each dungeon to defeat the Animal Gods.Light Puzzling
