Have you ever played Cookie Clicker or one of its hundreds of clones? Planetra is one of those idle games, now on your Wii U and 3DS. You harvest fruit, berries, eggs, manure – the whole gambit of things that come out of a farm, for gold. More gold means investing more resources into the farm. More resources yields larger quantities of produce to sell for yet more gold. Watching numbers tick up at a growing pace then releases dopamine in your brain.

As part of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’s February Kickstarter update, two new enemies are introduced. We have a first look at the flying harpy Aello and the demon beast Gieremund.

Below are the official comments from Bloodstained Koji Igarashi about both enemies:

“Our first new enemy is Aello. This flying harpy keeps its distance from the player. Our original plan was to put her in the ship stage, where she would use physical and wind attacks.

This second enemy is Gieremund, a fast-moving, beast-type demon that attacks on all fours. Guarding against this enemy’s attacks will require quick reflexes.”

Also for the new Kickstarter update, Igarashi interviewed composer Michiru Yamane. Watch the full discussion below.

EnjoyUp Games and Pixel Bones Studio have announced Mutant Alien Moles of the Dead for the Wii U eShop, “a game of reflexes in which your mission is to foil the plans of an alien invader that is attempting to conquer the planet from underground.” Players need to whack away at aliens with their hammer once they pop up through holes. If you’re not quick enough, they’ll bite you.

Mutant Alien Moles of the Dead is indeed a new take on Whack-A-Mole. Mutant Alien Moles of the Dead hopes to freshen up the experience “with the added diversity of events and extras, such as rock-paper-scissors battles, power ups and much more.

Features include:

– Fully tactile

– Power-ups

– A colorful, carefree world

– Stage bosses

– Rock-paper-scissors battles

– Game & Watch style platform stage

– A secret level for more experienced players
