Wii U eShop

Three Kirby games are coming to the North American Wii U eShop next week. Kirby’s Dream Land 3, Kirby’s Dream Course, and Kirby Super Star will all be available as Virtual Console downloads. You’ll be able to buy each for $7.99 starting on May 23.

Son of Nor could come to the Wii U eShop. Stillalive Studios founder Julian Mautner has expressed interest in bringing the game to Nintendo’s console.

Mautner has said that the team would like to “test” Son of Nor for Wii U. If all goes well, a Wii U version could be added in on Kickstarter as a stretch goal.

“We are eager to test Son of Nor on the WiiU, as it would add really a lot to the game! If everything works out we’d be interested in porting the game as part of a stretch-goal!”

Roughly $64,000 has been raised on Kickstarter thus far. Stillalive would like to collect $150,000 in total funding within the next thirteen days.

Two Tribes isn’t done with Toki Tori 2. The studio is still working on the level editor, for instance.

But what lies ahead for Two Tribes? According to Martijn Reuvers, the team will be bringing its “vintage titles” to the Wii U – that includes Toki Tori, EDGE, and RUSH. Two Tribes is also considering EDGE for 3DS, which would be brought over by a separate developer.

“Apart from Toki Tori 2, we’re also planning on bringing our vintage titles, Toki Tori, EDGE and RUSH to the Wii U as well. And we’re in the talks with another developer to bring EDGE to the 3DS as well. But nothing is solid at this point.”

Notion Games and Ubisoft have settled on a name change for Super Ubi Land. Ubisoft asked Notion to change Super Ubie Land’s name due to the similarity of “Ubi” to “Ubie”.

The change is nothing major – the downloadable title will now be called “Super Ubie Land”.

Notion tweeted just a short while ago:
