Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, DS, Rumors, Wii | 0 comments
3DS VC:
Sonic Labyrinth (Game Gear)
eShop:
VVVVVV
DSiWare:
Curling Super Championship
Wii VC:
Wonder Boy in Monster Land (VCA)
Monster World IV (MD)
I don’t believe Nintendo has made these downloads official. The list above might come from the UK Nintendo Channel, but we’ll mark this as a rumor until we receive a confirmation.
GameStop: No free-roaming in Wii/3DS/DS versions of The Amazing Spider-Man
Posted on 12 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in 3DS, DS, News, Wii | 0 comments
There won’t be any free-roaming gameplay in the Wii, 3DS, and DS versions of The Amazing Spider-Man. That’s according to GameStop, which says that the feature will only be included in the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 editions.
Activision hasn’t actually shared any official information about The Amazing Spider-Man on Nintendo platforms specifically. But if GameStop’s message holds true, it doesn’t sound like there will be an open world to explore.
That’d be a bewildering decision given the fact that Spider-Man 2 featured an open world on the GameCube. The Amazing Spider-Man is an entirely different game of course, but we were expecting the Wii and 3DS versions to be somewhat comparable to Beenox’s efforts on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The DS edition, on the other hand, could end up as a 2D experience much like Echoes of Time.
Thanks to Jake for the tip.

A few days ago, Nicalis shared the surprising news that the company wouldn’t be publishing La-Mulana on the North American/European Wii Shop Channels. Nicalis made the announcement even though the game had been confirmed for both regions close to three years ago.
Now Nigoro is sharing their side of the story. La-Mulana’s director Takumi Naramura answered a few questions in an IndieGames interview, commenting on publisher agreements, contracts, any possible deadlines, and more.
Head on past the break for Naramura’s words.
