Circana has released a listing of the top ten best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of August 2025.

After it was #3 previously, Donkey Kong Bananza slips to #7. New titles on the list include Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles and Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar.

The latest Famitsu review scores for the week of October 8, 2025 are as follows:

Marvelous has just released the first major update for Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar. The version should be rolling out now on both the Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 versions of the game.

The major feature introduced in this update is a new unlockable mode called happy bingo. Playing this mode can win you some items, including exclusive cosmetics with a deluxe bingo card.

Street Fighter 6 Banshee's Last Cry collaboration

A new collaboration is incoming for Street Fighter 6, with Capcom today revealing a collaboration with Banshee’s Last Cry. It will kick off on October 15, 2025, lasting until April 30, 2026.

Banshee’s Last Cry is actually celebrating its 30th anniversary. The visual novel, made by Chunsoft, originally released in 1994.

Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions

April 2: Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions is in the works for Nintendo Switch 2, it’s been announced. The title is slated for 2026.

The project is a new game set within the Astroneer universe. If you’re interested in learning more, we’ve got the following details:

Futurlab has announced that PowerWash Simulator 2 is heading to Nintendo Switch 2 on October 23. The sequel takes players back to Muckingham with a brand new campaign featuring fresh locations, improved visuals, enhanced equipment, and additional features.

Co-op play returns online and, for the first time, local split-screen is supported. Just like the original, the goal is to turn dirty environments into clean and relaxing spaces.

After it originally released in 2022, Kirby and the Forgotten Land saw new life this year with a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. Not only did it offer technical improvements for the main game, but a brand new Star-Crossed World campaign was added.

Kei Ninomiya, a producer at Nintendo, has now spoken about the decision to bring back Kirby and the Forgotten Land for its Switch 2 Edition. He mentioned in an interview with Japanese magazine Nintendo Dream that they wanted “to expand the world even further”, and then that opportunity could be realized with the new console. It was also stated how there was a desire to get Kirby on Nintendo Switch 2 “as quickly as possible.”

Nintendo Switch Online is ringing in October with new icons for Mario’s Super Picross and Mario Party 3 icons. This goes for both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.

Both of these are “play to unlock” rewards, but it’s actually pretty simple. If you start up the SNES app and play Mario’s Super Picross for even a second, those icons will be made available to you. The same goes for Mario Party 3 on the N64 app, though that requires a membership to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack tier.

Mina the Hollower delayed

Mina the Hollower has been delayed, which means the game won’t be making its originally planned October 31 launch.

Yacht Club Games said that development “is so close to being done – we’re playing it from start to finish every day.” Currently the team is working on finalizing design, art, and sound, working on overall game balancing, implementing localization, and testing on all platforms. The delay won’t be a major one, but this is ultimately about final polish and balancing.

Koei Tecmo shared the latest information about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment today, which covers five characters: Argusta, Kia, Krafika, Ardi, and Lanaria. These are all Sages plus Lenalia, who is Zelda’s maid.
