Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4

Following recent leaks, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 was made official today. The game is coming to Nintendo Switch in just a few months with a release date confirmed for July 11, 2025.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 brings back the classic games with updated graphics and addition content, including the new Waterpark level. 

Civilization 7 update 1.1.0

An absolutely massive version 1.1.0 update has just landed for Civilization 7 on Nintendo Switch as well as other platforms.

Both free and paid content is included. Additionally, the team implemented several additional changes based on player feedback. Highlights include Bermuda Triangle as a new Natural Wonder, UI adjustments, changes to the Modern Age’s Cultural Legacy Path and Victory, and much more.

MAR10 Day 2025

Ahead of MAR10 Day next week, Nintendo has announced its plans for the event. There are various things planned including activities, events, and game discounts.

For Nintendo Switch owners, select titles will be going on sale for $39.99. These include Super Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, Super Mario RPG, Princess Peach: Showtime, and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. We’ll also be seeing Mario vs. Donkey Kong for $29.99. Look for these discounts at Best Buy, GameStop, Target, and Walmart.

Elsie physical

Elsie, which was previously sold digitally on Nintendo Switch, is now getting a physical release. Meridiem will handle distribution across European specialist stores on May 22, 2025. Those in North America will be able to import.

Elsie will have a special Magitek Edition. Copies include the game, a special case, a sticker sheet, and a character book.

Suikoden 1 & 2 HD Remaster Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars is almost here, and Konami is gearing up for the launch with a new trailer. The pair of RPGs released way back of the day are now making a comeback with updated visuals, improved gameplay, and more.

Fantasy Life i Keiji Inafune

Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino shared notable information about the development of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time in which he explained the game’s delay in 2024 and confirmed that producer Keiji Inafune left the company.

In a blog post, Hino said the project “faced an unexpected challenge” during the middle of last year. Aside from Inafune departing, the game underwent an overhaul after “internal test players had given the game harsh evaluations”. More of Level-5’s studios became involved and there were additions and improvements made, including “open-world exploration and parkour-style actions, restructuring the system’s progression flow, improving the core mechanics, and refining the scenario to be even more emotionally impactful.”

Inazuma Eleven V Heroes Showcase 2025

Level-5 has provided an update on Inazuma Eleven Victory Road, seemingly confirming yet another delay and announcing the Inazuma Eleven V Heroes Showcase 2025. CEO Akihiro Hino provided a status update in a new blog today.

Hino announced the Inazuma Eleven V Heroes Showcase 2025, which will cover “the official release date and everything included”. As for the release date, “it might slip just a tiny bit due to the ripple effects of Fantasy Life i.” The game was last said to be on track for June.

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending March 1, 2025 is now available.

There are a few new games here, including one for Nintendo Switch – that being Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection, which comes in at #9. Also, believe it or not, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is still on the rise. After it was #3 last week, it’s now #2 – only the just- released Monster Hunter Wilds managed to stop it.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart outlining what Japanese gamers are looking forward to based on reader votes. Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake is holding steady at #2 and the top title for Nintendo Switch. Given the series’ popularity in Japan, that comes as no surprise.
