Nintendo Direct September 2025 rumor

August 25: Multiple sources are coming forward, claiming that a Nintendo Direct is happening in September.

Switch Force was the first to hint at a date of September 12. That would be a Friday, which would be abnormal, but it’s also possible that it could be September 11 in the west due to time zone differences.

Now that Space Adventure Cobra: The Awakening has released on Nintendo Switch, we’ve got a new launch trailer. This is a new action platformer that brings the cult 80s anime classic back to life for a new generation of players.

Everybody's Golf Hot Shots physical

We have a bit of good news for those interested in picking up a physical version of Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots on Nintendo Switch.

At this point, it’s safe to say that the game is digital-only in North America, especially given that it’s only a week out. There simply aren’t any listings we’ve been able to find pointing to a physical edition. However, in Europe, Bandai Namco is actually publishing a physical copy of Everybody’s Golf Hot Shots on Nintendo Switch. This works very well since the system is region-free – those in North America and elsewhere will be able to play it on their device.

Final Fantasy Tactics The Ivalice Chronicles opening movie

Square Enix has revealed the opening movie for Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles. During a panel at PAX today, the video debuted, but is now available online.

Here’s an overview of the game:

Atelier Resleriana interview

Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & the White Guardian will soon be launching on Nintendo Switch, so to learn a bit more about the game and its development, we caught up with the team for an interview. General producer Junzo Hosoi and development producer Yasunori Sakuda were kind enough to answer a few of our questions.

Between the two, we’re able to hear more about the game’s visual style, alchemy system, and revisiting turn-based battles. They also fielded questions about why we’re getting this one so soon after Atelier Yumia, and we couldn’t help but ask about Nintendo Switch 2.

Our full Atelier Resleriana interview can be found below.
