Hive Jump dev elaborates on decision to leave online co-op out of the Wii U version
Posted on 8 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 24 Comments
A few days ago, some news surfaced about Hive Jump not supporting online co-op in the Wii U version. Graphite Lab director Matt Raithel actually took some time to explain the decision further right here on the site.
Graphite Lab did look into the possibility of including online multiplayer in the Wii U version extensively. However, after careful consideration, the tough decision had to be made as the feature “was going to be beyond our scope for this release due to time and budget constraints placed on our team.”
Raithel explained:

If you’re in Europe, a new Star Ghost update is now available for download. The patch addresses some bugs and fixes some minor visual issues – no new features are included.
It doesn’t look like Star Ghost’s update is available in North America, but developer Squarehead Studios says it should be available everywhere eventually.

[Review] Mutant Mudds Super Challenge
Posted on 8 years ago by Jakob Vujovic(@jakovujo) in 3DS eShop, Reviews, Wii U eShop | 2 Comments
System: Wii U / 3DS (eShop)
Release date: March 17, 2016
Developer: Renegade Kid
Publisher Renegade Kid
Immediately upon playing the first level of Mutant Mudds Super Challenge, I was reminded about how much I loved Renegade Kid’s original 2D platformer. When it released in 2012, it was one of the first great 3DS eShop titles. Super Challenge feels largely like a continuation of the first game’s later levels. It’s telling that it hasn’t been named Mutant Mudds 2 since there isn’t too much new here, but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
