Publisher Dangen Entertainment and developer Puff Hook Studio have announced Recall: Empty Wishes will arrive on Nintendo Switch next month. The story-driven psychological thriller will launch on February 13 on the platform.

Publisher Gravity Game Arise and developer CRT Games have announced that they will be bringing Snow Bros 2. Special to Nintendo Switch this year, with the game slated to launch on April 10 in Japan. The remake of the classic title will support English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Russian, Thai, and Indonesian language options when it arrives on the platform.

Thanks to Gravity Game Arise, we now have a release date for Kamibako: Mythology of Cube in the west. It’ll come to North America and Europe on Nintendo Switch on January 30, 2025.

Kamibako: Mythology of Cube has been in Japan since August. Now fans in other regions will be able to experience the game, which features a mix of map-crafting, puzzle, battle, and RPG elements. 

The release date for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate has been pushed back – though thankfully it’s not a massive delay. We’ll now be seeing it on April 17, 2025.

Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds Ultimate was originally slated for February 13. However, Rocket Panda Games is moving things back a couple of months due to “unforeseen delays with the implementation and testing of the online modes.”

Arc System Works just confirmed that it will be publishing the newly-announced Super Technos World: River City & Technos Arcade Classics with a worldwide, English release on Nintendo Switch. It’s due out on April 24, 2025.

Famitsu had the first word on Super Technos World: River City & Technos Arcade Classics earlier today. Twelve games are included as well as various features such as “Suspend Save” and online support.

CyberConnect2 today officially announced Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3, and we also have a release date. The game is scheduled for May 29, 2025. A physical release containing the series’ games is also planned for the same day in Japan.

Fuga: Melodies of Steel 3 is another tactical RPG. CyberConnect2 says this is the conclusion of the story with “a brand-new, strategic battle system, enhanced Taranis training during intermission, and tactical route progression and event battles”.

January 15: Going along with the launch of Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, new icons based on the game have just been added to Nintendo Switch Online. Different waves will be going up over the next few weeks.

As usual, members can obtain icons for characters, backgrounds, and frames. Characters cost 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo. You’ll need to fork over 5 Platinum Points for backgrounds and frames.

Earthblade, which was being created by Celeste developer Extremely OK Games, has now been cancelled. The studio provided an update on its official website today.

The decision to cancel Earthblade was made in December. A few things factored in here, including a split with Pedro Medeiros over “the IP rights of Celeste,” according to Extremely OK Games’ Maddy Thorson. While a resolution was met, Medeiros has moved on from the team and is hard at work on his game Neverway.

Ahead of the official re-release of Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles comes the game’s official launch trailer. This goes beyond a simple remaster as new characters and more are included.

Yet another Nintendo Switch game has been announced by publisher Ratalaika Games, and this time it’s Squab. The game arrives on January 31, 2025.

Squab was made by Guimaraf Studio. This 2D platformer has players taking on the role of a young pigeon as they attempt to save his father, Maximus.
