Nintendo has published a new 3DS system update in North America. In addition to typical system stability improvements, it adds the much-anticipated StreetPass Mii Plaza DLC.
Europe and Japan received the same functionality last month. Users are able to buy four new games after performing another upgrade inside the StreetPass Mii Plaza: Mii Force, Flower Town, Warrior’s Way, and Monster Manor.
Pricing is set at $4.99 per game. Alternatively, you can purchase the bundle for $14.99.
Updating your system will bring the 3DS firmware to version 6.1.0-12.
Splinter Cell: Conviction, the last game in the series, didn’t emphasize stealth as much as previous titles. Longtime players won’t have to worry about a dearth of stealth elements with Splinter Cell: Blacklist, however.
Speaking with VideoGamer, creative director Maxime Béland assured fans that Blacklist primary focus is indeed stealth, stating:
“The [game’s] economy system is balanced to push you towards [playing stealth]. If you play Assault, or if you play clumsy, you’re going to make some money and if you play Panther, you’re going to be making more and be rewarded more.” Béland said.
“If you play Ghost, it’s harder: not being detected is really hard. You need to be conscious of the environment, you need to listen well… but you’re going to be making a shit load more money if you’re playing [that way]. I’m hoping regardless what your play style you’ll come in and [start] gravitating towards Ghost.”
Capcom laid off a number of its staffers in the US. One of those affected is none other than Christian Svensson, the company’s senior VP of planning and business development Christian Svensson.
Capcom confirmed that the layoffs were a part of the company’s “overall organizational restructure”.
The full statement reads:
“Capcom today laid off several employees from the US office as part of an overall organizational restructure of the company. The transition to the new generation of hardware and changing industry landscape have required us to adapt our business to best meet our new goals. We sincerely thank each individual for their contributions and wish them well.”

Geoff Johns and Jim Lee are two well-known figures in the comics scene. Johns primarily writes, while Lee has acted as an artist, writer, and more.
Both are now contributing to Scribblenauts, as they’ve been seen “recording something”. Given their impact in the comics industry, one would think that they’ll be involved with Scribblenauts Unmasked in some fashion.
