Zelda’s first original outing on the 3DS will run at 60 frames-per-secondd in both 2D and 3D.
In an interview with EDGE, Eiji Aonuma said that implementing 60 FPS as opposed to 30 FPS helps to maintain the 3D effect.
He said:
“The game runs at 60FPS, while all the 3D games up till now have run at 30fps. The faster the framerate, the more stable the 3D effect, so 60FPS is a big deal.”
Aonuma also mentioned that players won’t be forced to play in 3D if this is something they aren’t interested in:
“Well, there are players who don’t like 3D and always keep it switched off, so there’s nothing in the game that absolutely requires 3D, like puzzles that can’t be solved without it.”
Japanese gamers will be able to purchase an enhanced version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms XII later this year. In September, Tecmo Koei will release “Romance of the Three Kingdoms XII with Power Up Kit” for the Wii U, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita.
Exact details haven’t been confirmed at this time. However, Romance of the Three Kingdoms XII with Power Up Kit will likely offer enhanced AI, natural disasters, and the option to upgrade all unit types.
Nintendo 3DS owners will now be able to access free Wi-Fi through O2 hotspots throughout the UK
3rd June 2013 – Nintendo has today announced a partnership with O2 to provide further Wi-Fi internet access to users of its Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo 3DS XL consoles across thousands of locations in the UK.
Nintendo 3DS owners will now be able to automatically connect to the internet for free whenever they enter locations or venues covered by the O2 Wifi service. These include highstreet locations such as McDonalds, Debenhams, Pizza Hut, Costa Coffee, House of Fraser, Toby Carvery as well as public venues such as The O2, Twickenham, Bluewater and the Central London boroughs of Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea.
There’s no need to worry about any complicated setup on your Nintendo 3DS as just being in range of an O2 Wifi hotspot is enough to go online, providing you have the latest system update. When you are near to a compatible area – all of which can be found using Nintendo’s handy Hotspot finder – the Nintendo Zone icon will blink to notify you that free Wi-Fi internet access is available. Nintendo 3DS owners will then be able to access a multitude of online features, allowing a seamless online user experience whether at home or on the move.

There are rumblings about that Nintendo could be removing stock of the Wii U Basic Set in just a couple of weeks. Kotaku obtained an internal GameStop email that recalls all such systems on June 18.
Regardless of the situation in North America, Nintendo is keeping the Wii U Basic Set around in the UK. A statement from the company states that pulling the console option is “definitely not something that’s happening in the UK.”
Update: Brought to the top of the page. Here’s the latest…

So just some kind of promotional thing on Harada’s part? He doesn’t appear to be missing at this point…
Something strange is going on with Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada. A tweet from Harada’s official Twitter account, published by the “Tekken project support team”, states that he “has been missing from office since a week ago.” The tweet continues: “We are still searching for him.”

So what’s going on here? Is something truly up with Harada? His last tweet was on May 26 – quite a long time ago.
I’m assuming that this isn’t a joke of some sort, but you never know. I just hope Harada is alright!
