Mario’s next sports title is 3DS-bound. Mario Golf is coming to the portable this summer. Camelot, as expected, is developing the title.

Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon isn’t the only Luigi game releasing this year. Nintendo has announced a new Mario & Luigi title for the 3DS, marking the series’ first appearance on the 3DS.

First footage is currently being shown on today’s Nintendo Direct. We’ll have it hear shortly.

The new Mario & Luigi title launches this summer.

Each presentation will begin at 9 AM ET / 6 AM PT. Runtimes are as follows:

North America – 37 minutes
Europe – likely around a half hour
Japan – 20 minutes – “Luigi special”

SEGA has denied speculation that Aliens: Colonial Marines has been cancelled on Wii U.

A rumor surfaced last night that Aliens had been “postponed indefinitely” on Nintendo’s console. But a SEGA UK representative says this isn’t so:

“It’s not true. We haven’t announced the release date for it yet but that’s it.”

Aliens: Colonial Marines remains on track for a release before the end of March on Wii U.

The Pokémon Company International has confirmed “Sylveon” as the English name of the new Eevee evolution featured in Pokemon X/Y. More details about the Pokemon and how it evolves from Eevee will be announced later in 2013. Take a look at the first screenshots of Sylveon above.

Nintendo’s YouTube channels have leaked out some (if not all) of the titles set to be featured during tomorrow’s North American Nintendo Direct.

The company’s 3DS channel lists three private videos, which are actually Fire Emblem: Awakening, LEGO City: Undercover – The Chase Begins, and Animal Crossing: New Leaf. Thumbnails of each trailer were located through a bit of detective work.

Over at the Nintendo Direct YouTube channel, the presentation in full is set to private. But thumbnails from this video were uncovered as well, showing Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon, Satoru Iwata dressed with a Luigi hat, and Reggie Fils-Aime.

Nothing was located in the Wii U channel, for those who may be wondering.

So keep those expectations in check. It doesn’t sound like we’ll be getting any major announcements like last time, though maybe there will still be a surprise or two. It’ll be interesting to see if Nintendo of Europe/Japan feature additional/different content. I can’t see the Japanese stream talking much about Animal Crossing or Fire Emblem, given that the two titles have been out for some time.
