Atlus, Aquaplus, and Nippon Ichi all have teased new titles when asked about their thoughts for 2012.

Speaking with Famitsu, Atlus said that “That title you’ve been waiting for may be announced.” Aquaplus, meanwhile, has an announcement coming up in just a few days. Lastly, Nippon Ichi’s new title will apparently be revealed through an upcoming illustration.

These were all pretty vague teases. The question of the day is, will any of these projects end up on a Nintendo platform?

The Famicom/NES version of Super Mario Bros. will be arriving on the Japanese eShop next week for all users. It can be downloaded on January 5 for 500 yen.

Most Ambassadors have most likely downloaded Super Mario Bros. at this point. However, much like the NES version of The Legend of Zelda, Ambassadors can update their game so that it can take advantage of save states. It’ll probably feature a new icon on the home menu as well.
