Ubisoft wrapped up development on the 3DS version of Rayman Origins a long time ago. The game shipped in Europe several months ago. Oddly enough, it still hasn’t shipped in North America.
That may be changing this week. The 3DS eShop is listing a November 6 release date for the game, and the demo has even returned to the digital store. We’ll know if this is accurate in a few days.

I’m not sure if I hope he’s right or if I hope he’s wrong! If AAA games go away, it would probably be due to the shrinking of the gaming industry. While that’s inherently a bad thing, I bet that smaller teams and more innovation/uniqueness would be the end result, which I would quite like!

Nyamyam is a new indie studio from the UK comprised of former RARE staffers. The team is currently working on “Tengami”, an “explorative adventure game” set inside a pop-up-book.
For now, Tengami is only in the works for the PC, Mac, and iPad. But it sounds like the team has been chatting with Nintendo of Europe, and may be interested in bringing it to the Wii U eShop as well.
Nyamyam posted the following message on Twitter on a couple of days back:
“Chatted with Nintendo Europe today. Really excited about Nintendo’s plans for the digital WiiU store. Very indie/small dev friendly.”
The studio also started asking its followers if they’d like to see Tengami on Wii U. Nothing is set in stone right now, but I’d say the prospects are pretty good.

Twilight Princess Quiz Show Fun Time!
Goodness this was a funny show! I can honestly say I didn’t expect things to turn out the way they did, but hey, sometimes surprise is best served unexpectedly. We got a new mic as well so the audio quality is GREATLY improved… but that also means you can hear Laura eating popcorn way too loudly sometimes! Ah well.
