In some ways, Tales of Hearts was one of the more forgotten titles in the series. It came out quietly in Japan over three years ago without much fan clamor to bring it overseas.
But perhaps Namco Bandai is considering a return to the DS title. The company registered a second U.S. trademark for Tales of Hearts on February 17. Unlike the original trademark, Siliconera reports that the new filing “applies also applies to downloadable video game software.”
We don’t actually know if Namco Bandai will revisit Tales of Hearts, though it’s possible that they’re looking into introducing a localized version through digital means.
