It’s no secret that Rayman Origins was a relative bomb. It sold poorly at retail, yet, somehow, Ubisoft managed to turn a profit on the title. The company shared that tidbit with investors on a financial conference call today.
Ubisoft did not share any specific sales figures. They did say, however, that Rayman Origins “has the capacity to become a long-term seller for the company.”
The updated Ambassador version of Super Mario Bros. can be downloaded in North American territories. The same update went live in Europe earlier this week.
As mentioned previously, the new version offers Save States and a different icon on the home menu.

Although we posted this trailer a few days ago, all of the text was in what I think was Italian. Here’s the English version:
Aksys Games and Nintendo Power must have a pretty decent relationship. The magazine was given the scoop on Shifting World in its January/February issue, and it appears that another reveal from the company is on the way.
Aksys included the following blurb in a blog post last week:
“Bonus: You might want to pick up the next Nintendo Power, on stands on 2/28, for a very special announcement.”
There’s a good chance that we’ll hear about this mysterious game earlier than the 28th. Subscribers usually get their copies a bit earlier than the newsstand date.
