Usually reliable gaming investigator Superannuation has heard rumblings that Epic Mickey 2 may see some sort of Wii U support. It appears that there will either be a Wii U version of the title, or the Wii edition will make use of the Wii U’s tablet one way or another.

Superannuation tweeted today:

“Apparently Junction Point is ‘implementing Wii U support for Epic Mickey 2.’ Not sure if that means WiiU SKU or Wii version supports tablet.”

I’m not sure how the Wii U controller would work on Wii. A separate Wii U version makes much more sense in my opinion. Then again, it’s currently unclear if any part of this rumor is true. We’ll just have to wait and see!

Ah, yes. More people in Mario and Sonic costumes.

EA has been publishing Tiger Woods PGA Tour games on Wii since 2007. Sadly, those days are over.

The company told Kotaku that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 13 is not in development for Wii. A Wii U version might be possible, but EA hasn’t announced anything official for the platform.
