Welp, another WiiWare game that turned out to be disappointing. Even at 500 points, this isn’t worth your time…
Nintendo of America has registered a trademark for The Last Story in the United States. Technically it was registered back in 2010, but the company finally received it earlier this week. To be honest, I doubt this means anything, but at least it renews hope somewhat. At this point I’d be amazed if The Last Story, Xenoblade, or Pandora’s Tower were released in North America.

Professor Layton is on top, but I don’t think it made quite the impact that the franchise did on the DS. I’m wondering how long it’ll take Mask of Miracle to arrive in the states since we’re so far behind on the series!
One third-party 3DS game that isn’t dead is Ninja Gaiden. The title was announced at Nintendo’s E3 conference last year, but Team Ninja hasn’t said anything at all about the project. So it’s great to hear that Ninja Gaiden is still on the way to 3DS, though it’s “very early in development.”
Yosuke Hayashi told Siliconera:
“Right now, we are concentrating on Ninja Gaiden 3. To be honest with you, Ninja Gaiden for 3DS is still in very early in development.”
In terms of what we can expect in the title, the controls from Dragon Sword will most likely be carried over in some form. These controls worked quite well and are will even be a foundation point for Ninja Gaiden: Razor’s Edge on Wii U.
Update: Game Night is now over!
