This information comes from Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO of Natsume…
“We know our loyal fans have been patiently awaiting news of a North American release for Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny, so we are thrilled to announce that the latest entry in the fan-favorite series is on its way. Better still, this entry is coming to both the Wii and PlayStation 3. Featuring a vast region to explore, a wonderful cast of characters, and a huge variety of activities to enjoy, Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny is sure to make waves!”
As soon as Natsume said they would be unveiling a “highly anticipated” Wii/PS3 title, I’m sure everyone pretty much knew the announcement would be Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny (otherwise known as Rune Factory: Oceans). In any case, it’s nice to have a confirmation. The title will be playable at E3 next month and will launch later this year.

16th May, 2011 – In preparation for the remastered launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, one of the most critically acclaimed games of all time, Nintendo is offering a special game packaging which features a gold sleeve title sheet and an exclusive double-sided A2 sized poster for those who preorder The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D before it is launched on Nintendo 3DS across Europe on 17th June, 2011.
As one of the landmark titles in video game history, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has been completely remastered for the Nintendo 3DS system and incorporates 3D graphics without the need for special glasses. Fans of the original game and newcomers alike will be captivated by the bold new visuals as they take control of one of video gaming’s all-time great heroes
I don’t really think spoilers are really necessary with this game, but just in case… you may want to avoid the last few minutes of the video above if you don’t want the final boss battle to be spoiled!
Events
Equestrian – Set in Greenwich Park. You have to hold the Remote and its side and move up and down as if they were reins to speed up. You’ll need to slow down and angle your Remote to steer around corners before galloping up to a fence and leaping over it.
Canoeing – Set in Eton Dorney. A circle appears on screen and you have to hold the Remote in a vertical position and make a paddle motion just as the Circle disappears. Repeat this action to get to the finish line.
