Update: It’s called Spirit Photo, a Fatal Frame spinoff. You can find the first details here.

Big news from the latest issue of Famitsu is starting to leak. The magazine has continued its pre-TGS coverage from last week, this time announcing a possible Fatal Frame title for 3DS. We’re just not sure if it’s actually a Fatal Fame title or a different type of project from the Fatal Frame team.

The mystery project will use the the system’s AR capabilities. The system itself will act as the camera in the game.

There are a few more details from the magazine that haven’t been translated just yet. More information should arrive very shortly.

Even though NGamer was trying to make a joke, they didn’t really use much tact. Plus, most North American fans would say that Excitebots is actually a very enjoyable title. It was viewed favorably by critics as well.
