Nintendo, along with Fuji Television and Nippon Television, are bringing an eShop application titled “Itsu no Ma ni Terebi” (roughly translated to “Spot TV”) to the 3DS. It’ll be available in Japan starting today.

The service will automatically download new, completely original video content to the system through SpotPass. Although the videos are free, advertisements do appear.

Here’s a schedule rundown provided by Nintendo, provided by Andriasang:

Nittele Doubutsu de Calendar
An animal program showing animals in 3D. Delivered daily.

Tetsu View 3D
A train program designed for train buffs, complete with introductions to trains and train stations. Delivered daily.

Magic Class 3D
This program shows magic tricks from famous magicians. Delivered daily.

Idoling Sumo 3DS
A popular girls group takes on a variety of challenges, all apparently in the form of battle (like sumo wrestling). Delivered daily.

Nikkan Topics
An information program. Delivered daily.

3D Choukoku no Mori
A look at sculptures from an outdoor sculpture museum in Hakone. Delivered every weekday.

Enjoy Sport
A sports program from Fuji TV. Delivered on Saturday an Sunday.

This information comes from Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono, who was asked if Street Fighter x Tekken will be brought to iPads, iPhones, or even the Wii U…

“Well, we’ve already gotten started with PlayStation Vita version, of course, but we’re anxious to take on all sorts of other platforms if the opportunity arises. It could be an iPhone thing, it could be an Android thing. It’s still too early to say, but we’ll take any chance we have to get this game in as many hands as possible. We know the hardcore users are the center of it all, but we think there’s a layer of psuedo-casual fighting game as well. We really want to push the idea that you can play anywhere with any kind of skill level, that it’s everyone’s game. One way to do that is to expand into platforms that cater a little more towards the average person.”

Street Fighter IV was originally released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Eventually, it ended up being a launch title for the 3DS. Might we see a similar situation with Street Fighter x Tekken and the Wii U?

This information comes from Strauss Zelnick is chief executive officer of Take-Two Interactive Software…

“We’ll see. We are looking at it seriously and at the relationship with Nintendo. We have supported the Wii and it has worked for us. We have done Carnival Games for the Wii. They support the platform and they were pretty excited about what they have seen. It will not be driven by me pounding the table saying do it, it will be driven by economic opportunity and creative opportunity.”

Oh God, he mentioned Carnival Games. I don’t think that’s the type of support most of us want to see. How about Grand Theft Auto instead…?

If you want a free Zelda, soundtrack, you’re going to have to register a copy of Ocarina of Time 3D by 12:01 AM PDT. Be sure to register the code that comes with the game on your account. I believe the reward should appear automatically, without any sort of popup or further action on your part.

I wouldn’t follow this list completely, as there are some questionable entries. However, it’s very, very interesting to see The Last Story scheduled for 2012. It’d be amazing if that were true. It’d also be depressing if Europe ended up receiving Xenoblade and The Last Story while North America missed out on both titles…

26 – Xenoblade Chronicles

September
09 – StarFox 64 3D
Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2

October

November
