This information comes from Nintendo Power…
– Zelda will be in the game
– Not saying if Ganon is in yet
– Beetle might be used for racing
– Not planning on including any voice acting
– Miyamoto hasn’t upended the tea table yet
Only a little bit of information, but they are certainly important details. But I’m curious…How do you guys feel about Nintendo deciding not to feature any voice acting in Skyward Sword?
Thanks to Romero for the tip!

I’m sure a lot of you who eat cereal have noticed this by now: Mario’s bright shining face is on the front of many specially marked boxes of Kellogg’s cereals, and he’s there to help give away free Nintendo DSi prizes. From points to systems to games, the prizes are available if you’re lucky enough to open up a box of cereal that has a special code in it, in which case you send away for your winnings.
“Over 50 million boxes of cereal in grocery stores around the country feature the character that helped build Nintendo, Mario™, and a host of hot DSiWare titles. Inside specially-marked boxes is a chance to win great Nintendo DSi prizes, including Nintendo DSi™ systems, games and Nintendo DSi Points™ to use in the Nintendo DSi Shop, which is available through the Nintendo DSi system.”
I don’t know about all of you, but for me there’s nothing better than waking up in the morning to see Mario’s face on my cereal! Especially when it’s something as delicious as Froot Loops. Mmmm…

“Boy, 3D is here to stay; it is not a fad, and speed the day that we get big screen TVs, and theaters with glasses free 3D like that. Nintendo got everything right on that little device. And they deserve to sell a gazillion of them. I want the first one off the line. And boy I hope I get a chance to develop for it someday. I mean literately, I came away from that feeling like I had just experienced some Disney magic. And I’ve been telling everybody who’ll listen it’s like the coolest thing ever, it’s unbelievable. I absolutely fell in love with the thing.” – Warren Spector
Warren Spector sounds like one of the 3DS’ biggest fans. Just a few days ago he was talking about how it changed his life! So…How about Epic Mickey 2 on the 3DS?
“I played the online mode recently and it’s still clunky, so we’ve got two guys working very hard to get it perfect.” – EA Sports creative director Trey Smith
Hmm…I’m not too sure how I feel about this. Of course, I’d love to see the game contain online functionality, but if it doesn’t work like it should, I don’t know if it’s worth including. It’d be nice if EA could work out all issues before release, though that’s easier said than done.
