Ignition Entertainment, a relative newcomer to the bustling videogame industry, is now among the most honored game companies of the year. Ignition’s lineup of breakthrough games including, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, The King of Fighters XII and Samurai Shodown: Edge of Destiny stood out among hundreds of highly-anticipated video game titles and swept up nine ‘Best of’ awards at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2009.

Muramsa: The Demon Blade took the Wii and action game categories by storm with its revolutionary take on the classic 2D side scroller and artistically rendered characters, enemies, fight sequences and deep and extraordinarily detailed environments. Muramsa: The Demon Blade blew away stiff competition, including perpetual powerhouse Nintendo, and won:

Nintendo announced at E3 a few weeks ago that Flipnote Studio will be launching in North America this summer. Summer officially began on Sunday, which that means the software might even be available next Monday for the DSi (although don’t count on it). As the release date of Flipnote Studios approaches, you can head over to the English website and register an account so that eventually, you will be able to watch and share clips with friends all over the world.

– Yes, Little King’s Story is coming out on July 21st. Official announcement will be going out soon, probably later this week.
– Yes, there is an extra hard “Tyrant” mode in the NA release of Little King’s Story.
– Can’t share exact numbers, but Rune Factory: Frontier has sold OK, though we could always use more sales.
– We will not pursue Kizuna.
– We are aware of all the impressions that people had from playing Fragile, but even if nothing is tuned for the NA release, we feel the overall great experience outweighs any minor gameplay issues.
– You are correct, that list you made is not our entire lineup. There are still two titles that we haven’t announced yet; one for Wii and one for DS. Both of these titles are scheduled to be revealed in July.
