Nintendo’s latest maintenance schedule for the week of July 7, 2024 is now available.
As of now there’s only one session on the docket. The Switch, 3DS, and Wii U eShops will be impacted for a couple of hours.

Ponos put out a new launch trailer for its Switch game The Battle Cats Unite. After its original launch a few years ago, we finally saw it in the west this week.
June 18: During today’s Nintendo Direct, Koei Tecmo announced Fairy Tale 2. The game launches on Switch this winter.
Fairy Tail 2 is an action RPG based on the popular manga and anime and is a direct sequel to the 2020 title. More information can be found in the following overview:
Original: We have a heads up on the next Nintendo Switch Online Game Trial in Europe, which will be Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Those that are interested can pre-load it now.
The trial begins on July 8. Once it’s active, Nintendo Switch Online members can play through the entire game. Then they can transfer all progress over to the finished version once the event wraps up.
Listings on the eShops provide file sizes for a bunch of Switch games. These include Tokyo Xanadu eX+, Bleach: Brave Souls, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, and more.

At Anime Expo 2024 today, Aksys Games revealed that Temirana: The Lucky Princess and the Tragic Knights is getting a global release on Switch. Western fans can play the title in 2025.
Temirana: The Lucky Princess and the Tragic Knights is an otome visual novel. English support will be included for the western launch, but it’s unclear if other languages will be available.
