Developer Imaginary Labs have announced that they will be bringing Whirlight – No Time to Trip to Switch next year. The game is a point-and-click adventure inspired by the likes of Day of the Tentacle and Monkey Island, with its own distinctive art style of 2D-rendered visuals. The game begins in the sixties but will take players across space and time and multiple eras.

Ahead of its release later this month, Riot Forge and Lazy Bear Games have released an animated short for Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story. Titled “Food Stand Fiasco”, this gives us another look at the characters of the game before it releases on February 21.

Developer Ice Water Games have announced that they’ll be bringing their open-world goblin RPG, Tenderfoot Tactics, to Switch later this month. Players interested will be able to pick up the game via the eShop starting from February 21, 2024.

Developer Artisan Studios have revealed a new JRPG, Lost Hellden, which will be arriving on Switch next year. The game will be presented in a hand-painted style, and will feature music and audio direction by Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII, Tactics Ogre, etc.) and illustrations by Takeshi Oga (Gravity Rush, Siren, etc.).

January 12: There’s more to come for Wild Card Football, as today, Saber Interactive announced the Legacy QB Pack and a free update.

The Legacy QB Pack is the game’s first post-launch premium DLC. It will offer four iconic legends with their own unique outfits – Warren Moon, Steve Young, Kurt Warner and Randall Cunningham.

Square Enix previously launched a remaster for Final Fantasy VIII, but not a remake. Director Yoshinori Kitase has now weighed on what he’d do if a remake were to ever happen.

Speaking with IGN, Kitase said he’d “really rework the battle system”. The Junction system was introduced here but “it was a very difficult system for some people to get into.”

It’s taken quite a bit of time, but Neon Blood has finally received its first trailer dubbed “Welcome to Viridis”.

The Cyberpunk-themed graphic adventure was first announced in October 2022. Screenshots were shared, but this is the first time we have a proper look at the action.

Face Off will be arriving as the next Arcade Archives game for Switch, Hamster has confirmed. It’ll be launching on February 8, 2024.
