Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

The latest UK software sales chart for the week ending April 27, 2024 is now available.

After coming in at #1 last week, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe moves down to #2 after being dethroned by Stellar Blade. Elsewhere Super Mario Bros. Wonder is still in the top five. Also, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes had a bit of a soft debut coming in at #27.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Thrills Frills update

Disney Dreamlight Valley is launching its big “Thrills & Frills” update this week, and we have the patch notes.

The update includes free content for everyone plus Act II of the A Rift in Time expansion pass. Highlights include a new building, new ways to interact with friends during Valley Visits, even more Disney Parks magic, and much more. Plus there are a new wave of bug fixes and optimizations.

Ocean Keeper

RetroStyle Games is planning to bring Ocean Keeper to Switch, the developer has announced. Currently the title doesn’t have a release window on Nintendo’s console.

Ocean Keeper is a roguelike survival game in which you play as a Space Pirate Team that discovers secrets of the underwater planet to obtain an ancient artifact. For further details, read up on the following overview:

Hidden Through Time 2 Discovery

Today, Rogueside announced Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery for Switch and other platforms. There’s no word on launch timing, but the developer says it’s “coming soon”.

Hidden Through Time 2: Discovery is another hidden object game with hand-drawn, interactive landscapes. A new map editor will be included this time around.

Uncle Chop's Rocket Shop release date

Thanks to Kasedo Games and Beard Envy, we have a near-final release window for Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop. The two sides announced today that it’s launching on November 16, 2024.

Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop, a roguelite spaceship repair simulator, was previously announced last August. The game originally had a general 2024 launch window.

Hand in Hand

MaxMedia and OverGamez today announced that they’re about to release Hand on Hand for Switch. The game will be ready to go on May 11, 2024.

Hand in Hand, a 2D puzzle platformer with co-op support, has players controlling two characters simultaneously and the end goal is to defeat evil. More information can be found in the following overview:

Another Daily Demon video for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance has been released by Atlus. This time, we’re given a look at Saturnus.

Developer Ocellus Services have announced that platformer adventure title The Smurfs: Dreams will be coming to Switch. A specific release date was not provided, but fans can look forward to the game coming out sometime this year.
