Splatoon’s final Splatfest is coming up and Nintendo are celebrating it in a variety of ways. European Wii U owners will soon be able to prove whether or not they’re as good as Callie and Marie. Wii Karaoke U, a karaoke game that’s free to download on the European Wii U eShop, will add three Squid Sisters songs on July 28th: “City of Colour”, “Ink Me Up” and “Calamari Inkantation”.

If you don’t want to pay actual money to try to your hand at these songs, remember that you can get a 1 hour Wii Karaoke U ticket on My Nintendo for 100 Platinum Points once per month.

Originally we were supposed to get new Pokemon Sun & Moon information tomorrow – however, some leaks happened today and it looks like they force The Pokemon Company’s hand. Either way, take a look at this brand new Japanese trailer:

This confirms the leaked Pokemon and also reveals their typings:

Tapu Koko: Electric / Fairy

Charjabug: Bug / Electric

Vikavolt (confirmed to be Charjabug’s evolution): Bug / Electric

Drampa: Normal / Dragon

Bruxfish: Water / Psychic

Cutiefly: Bug / Fairy

Togedamaru: Electric / Steel

Finally, the trailer reveals that, like 10% Zygarde, 50% Zygarde (the one originally found in X & Y) has an ability that lets it transform into 100% Zygarde in a pinch.

To celebrate the upcoming final Splatfest, Splatoon will be 25% off on the European eShop from July 7th till July 21st – so if you wanna take part in the final Callie vs. Marie showdown and don’t have Splatoon yet, now’s your chance.

Update: Several Youtube channels have saved and re-uploaded the original videos. This also gave us what are presumably the English names of these Pokemon. We’ve put them past the break.

Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon appear to have suffered from a potentially big leak. While not officially confirmed, now-removed video clips show what appear to be a bunch of new Pokemon. Since this does seem legitimate and falls under spoiler territory, we’ve posted the gallery showing the new creatures after the break.

With 13AM Games setting to release retail versions of Runbow, including the New 3DS version Runbow Pocket, Nintendo Enthusiast got to ask them about the port and more. While reconfirming that Runbow Pocket is a New 3DS exclusive, the studio stated that, while the capabilities of the New 3DS really help the game run, they would do everything in their power to bring the game to the old 3DS. They also stated that Runbow Pocket has been in development for three months and will be one of the first Unity titles on the New 3DS.

On the currently released version, it was noted that, while the game has not been an “overnight several million dollar success”, it has sold enough to keep the studio together. The Wii U version also featured some cut ideas for its Color Master mode, including a version where the Gamepad user played pinball, while the other players ran around inside.

On the future of the series, 13AM noted that cut ideas might find their way into a sequel, but that the studio would most likely release a different game in between.

While the three Splatfest stages have traditionally been picked by the developers, the final Splatfest, Team Callie vs. Team Marie, will have its stages voted on by players. E-mails will be sent out to the accounts linked to players’ Nintendo Network IDs, with voting ending on July 12th.

The Splatfest will start at 2 AM PST on July 22, and will finish at 2AM July 24. It will be a worldwide Splatfest, with scores from each region being totaled (although the top 100 players from each region will be signaled out individually). Players can start getting their Splatfest shirts on July 4, at 7 PM PST.
