For those who aren’t aware, I’m not what you’d consider an action fan. While most people love to sit back and cause explosions and mayhem, I’ll typically be found cutting grass in the fields of Hyrule and unleashing my Wii Fit Trainer fury in Smash Bros. The last game I thought I would find myself enjoying was an aerial combat simulator, but with Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy+, I loved flying through the skies with my highly fashionable Princess Peach-skinned jet and saving the world. However, this title holds one fatal flaw that made every neat looking explosion feel not quite as awesome in the long run.

Despite having launched just a few weeks ago, Amazon is already holding a sale on Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy+. The game is available for $29.99 – $10 off the normal asking price. If interested, you can check out Amazon’s product page here.

Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy+ can be purchased either at retail or via the eShop. If you opt for the latter option, keep in mind that the game takes up 5,657 blocks of space on an SD card. The new update is another 80 blocks.

Patches for two new retail games have been added to the European 3DS eShop. One for Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy+ is available now, with the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate update coming soon. We’ll update this post if we hear about similar availability in North America.
