Antonio and three more animals now available in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

Antonio, Raddle, Phoebe and Bluebear have just become available to invite over to your campsite in Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. They also have furniture they like added to the game too for you to craft. In addition to these new animals it seems a mini event is happening where doing requests for animals will make their friendship grow more quickly, this will last until December 10th.

At the end of October, The Wall Street Journal shared some rumored information claiming that one reason for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp’s delay was due to the game seeing an overhaul “at least once during the development process to ensure quality.” Liam Robertson from Unseen64 apparently has more on the situation, and dug up details about how a much different title was initially planned.
Development on the Animal Crossing game for mobile apparently began in early 2016. At the time, what Nintendo had been cooking up was said to be more simplistic.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp update out now (version 1.0.3)

Another update is now available for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. On both iOS and Android, Nintendo has started distributing version 1.0.3.
Today’s update admittedly isn’t terribly exciting. The patch notes only state that bug fixes have been implemented.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has already been downloaded over 15 million times in under the week. But how is it doing in terms of revenue? Sensor Tower shares its latest findings.
In its first nine days, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has generated roughly $10 million. That’s nothing to snuff at, but it’s behind Fire Emblem Heroes and Super Mario Run in terms of launch spending.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Christmas event details and is now live

Yesterday we reported that Animal Crossing Pocket Camp will be having a Christmas event and it is live right now.
First off you’ll be able to craft Holiday themed pieces of furniture by using Candy Canes to build them. To get these Candy Canes you’ll have to fulfill the requests of the animal campers in your game or by playing Shovelstrike. Here are the new furniture pieces you can craft listed below:
- festive bow tree
- three-ball snowman
- Jingle fence
- and much more
Finally, there is a list of special holiday clothing you can unlock, by completing a special set of Timed Goals:
- Santa hat
- Santa coat
- Santa skirt
- Santa pants
- Santa boots
The Santa hat will also be available to all players by logging-in before the end of this the event.
You have until to December 26th to craft the pieces of furniture from the holiday furniture set. However, if you start the crafting of one of these objects before the end of the event, you will still receive the furniture if the event is over by the time it’s completed.
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp hosting Christmas event

In keeping with wintertime festivities, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp seems to be holding a Christmas event. The event starts November 30.
The event will allow players to do exactly what a Christmas-themed event should allow: Craft Christmas trees among other festive objects. Not much more has been announced yet, but fans of the game are advised to stay tuned when the event is launched.

The last update for Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp was version 1.0.1 for iOS and version 1.0.2 for Android. Today, Nintendo released another patch for the iOS release. It’s now at version 1.0.2, in line with the Android version.
Nintendo says that the update addresses connection issues. We should also point out that Nintendo has updated the patch notes for version 1.0.2 on Android, also highlighting that connection issues have been addresse.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp estimated to have surpassed 15 million downloads

Just how well is Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp doing? Based on data from Sensor Tower, the game has crossed 15 million downloads worldwide.
Super Mario Run, Nintendo’s first mobile game, had 32 million downloads during its first six days on the App Store and Google Play (where it launched on December 15, 2016 and March 23, 2017, respectively. However, Nintendo’s second mobile title Fire Emblem Heroes achieved a lower number of seven million downloads within its first six days.
