Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is launching in just over two months, and Capcom is ramping up its promotional efforts for the game. It was featured in this week’s Monster Hunter Digital Event, including a new trailer.

Thanks to GameStop, we now have a look at the packaging for the Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin amiibo. We have the designs for Razewing Rathalos, Ena, and Tsukino above.
These new amiibo launch alongside Monster Hunter Stories 2 on July 9. GameStop will eventually have pre-orders here.

Original (4/27): GameStop has opened pre-orders for the Monster Hunter Stories 2 Collector’s Edition. You can reserve it here. As a reminder, it’s exclusive to the retailer in the United States.
The Monster Hunter Stories 2 Collector’s Edition includes the full game, Razewing Ratha amiibo, Wings of Ruin pin, sticker set, and Deluxe DLC Kit.

Monster Hunter Rise has sold over six million copies worldwide, Capcom has announced. Earlier this month, it was revealed that shipments were at five million.

Capcom has shared an update roadmap for Monster Hunter Rise. More patches are in the works, with version 3.0 planned for the end of May.
Version 3.0 will include new monsters and a new story that takes place after the ending. Further information will be provided at a later date.
