Four Sided Fantasy is coming to Wii U next year thanks to developer Ludo Land and publisher Curve Digital. The game was funded on Kickstarter in May of last year.

Four Sided Fantasy offers a mix of puzzle and platforming gameplay, in which players “make their way around surreal dreamlike levels by controlling and manipulating the way the screen wraps around itself”. Asteroids and Pac-Man are a couple of examples that feature a similar wraparound mechanic.

Curve Digital has yet another game planned for Wii U. The Swindle, a steampunk heist game developed by Size Five Games, will be released on the console (and other platforms) later this year.

Here’s the official overview:

The Swindle is a mixture of platform, action and stealth gameplay. Players will be breaking into buildings, hacking their systems, stealing their cash and then charging to the nearest exit to the sound of alarms and breaking glass. The buildings and levels you’ll be exploring are all procedurally-generated, and players will be able to upgrade their thief with new skills and tools after every job allowing them to take on bigger buildings with more elaborate security.

The Swindle was first announced for PC back in 2011, and ended up being cancelled since Size Five Games owner Dan Marshall was unable to make the various elements hold together in a way he was pleased with. However, after fans expressed their disappointment, it was resurrected last October. This new version has been completely rebuilt and focuses on procedurally-generated thieves and levels.

Curve Studios has announced that Titan Attacks! is coming to the 3DS eShop in all regions on February 26. Pricing is set at $9.99 / £7.99.

Titan Attacks! could be just the start of 3DS support from Curve Studios. Assuming it does well, the company may opt to make more games for the handheld.

Curve’s marketing manager Rob Clarke told Digital Spy:

“We’ve been toying with the idea of doing another 3DS game since Spincycle. People have been asking us about it since we announced Wii U ports last year, and we love the system in the office, but its technical specifications mean that not every game makes sense to port across. Titan Attacks was an ideal choice as it’s a relatively resource-light game, but it’s also a game that’s perfect for mobile formats and portable gaming. If it does well, we’re hoping to bring more of our games across to the 3DS at the same time as other versions.”
