Danganronpa Switch update

Spike Chunsoft has issued an update for a few of the different Danganronpa games available on Switch. Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition are both at version 1.0.1 while Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp is at version 1.0.3.

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair and Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls project director Shun Sasaki previously sat down with Famitsu to reflect on the series’ 10th anniversary and the overall Switch package of Danganronpa Decadence. In the interview, Sasaki spoke to why the team decided to port the titles to Nintendo’s console, the exclusive content, and much more.

Danganronpa Decadence finally came to Switch in the week this week, and we now have gameplay. Footage shows all titles included in the collection – specifically Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc Anniversary Edition, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Anniversary Edition, Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition, and the new Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp.

Shun Sasaki, a project planner that has worked on the Danganronpa series, has addressed the possibility of porting Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls to Switch.

Sasaki previously spoke to Famitsu discussing the series’ 10th anniversary. The interview was conducted both to commemorate the big milestone and celebrate the fact that the franchise has now made its debut on Switch. Sasaki was also asked about his thoughts on the possibility of a port of the spin-off title Ultra Despair Girls, which is currently only available on PlayStation platforms and PC.

With the game’s launch of December 3rd looming closer, Spike Chunsoft has seen fit to release a new trailer for Danganronpa Decadence. As a collection of four games from the series, including three mainline games and the board-game style experience Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp, there will be a lot of content to get through regarding this visual novel series. Danganronpa S Hope Shards Monokubs Hype Cards School Store

Today, Spike Chunsoft shared new details on the story and gameplay of Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp, including Hope Shards, Monokubs, Hype Cards, and the School Store. Danganronpa S will be included in the 10th Anniversary physical edition of the four-games-in-one bundle Danganronpa Decadence.

In the Danganronpa Decadence Collector’s Edition, Spike Chunsoft is including a remixed soundtrack. Danganronpa music producer Masafumi Takada created the ten-track compilation of fan-favorite tunes from the series’ 10-year history.
