Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is just a little over a month away from landing on Switch with Konami confirming a final release date today. The package is heading to Switch on August 30, 2022.

A new video has come online providing a first look at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection.
We first found out about the release back in March. It will include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Arcade), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time (Arcade), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (NES), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game (NES), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project (NES), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (NES), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time (Super Nintendo), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Super Nintendo), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back From The Sewers (Game Boy), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: Radical Rescue (Game Boy). Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration announced for Switch

Atari is teaming up with Digital Eclipse on Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration, a special package for Switch and other platforms. A release is planned for this holiday.
According to the official description, Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration “takes players on an interactive journey through 50 years of video games via interviews with designers, developers and industry leaders, documentary footage, product design documents, high-resolution original artwork, and a specially-curated list of more than 90 playable games.” Titles from the arcade, 2600, 5200, 7800, Atari 8-bit computers, Lynx, and Jaguar will be included. Additionally, Digital Eclipse has made the Reimagined series, which is comprised of “six new games that revisit, mash-up and reimagine Atari Classics” – the lineup is Swordquest: AirWorld, Haunted Houses, VCTR-SCTR, Neo Breakout, Quadratank, and Yars’ Revenge Reimagined.

Original (4/18): Konami has unveiled a special limited edition for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, which will include a variety of extras. It includes one-of-a-kind items and exclusive artwork from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman.

Konami, in collaboration with Digital Eclipse, has announced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, a package of classic titles. It’ll be arriving on Switch later in 2022.
Fans can look forward to a total of 13 titles with 8-bit, 16-bit, and arcade experiences and their Japanese versions included. Various quality-of-life features are planned such as save anytime and rewind, button mapping, and added online play for certain games with local multiplayer for all titles where originally intended. Each game also has a digital game guide “to help players fight and sometimes swim through difficult areas.”

Following previous leaks, Disney Classic Games Collection with a debut trailer. It will launch on Switch this fall.
Disney Classic Games Collection contains Aladdin, The Lion King, and The Jungle Book. Copies at retail will include four retro style instruction manuals while supplies last.

Previously, the ESRB rated the updated package last month. We knew that The Jungle Book was being added to the collection, but it turns out that’s not the only thing new here.
