Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga release date

Refint/Games and Falcom just nailed down a release date for Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga. On Nintendo Switch, it’s due out for October 10, 2025.

Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga was originally planned for this summer. However, the release ended up being pushed back.

GungHo has just released a new trailer for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter featuring the game’s combat system and various animations. This title will be making its way to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 on September 19, 2025.

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter DLC

Today, Falcom shared an update on Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, revealing the game’s lineup of DLC. The RPG will be getting a slew of extras between September 19 and October 2.

Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta

XSEED and Marvelous have picked up Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta for release in the west on Nintendo Switch, it’s been confirmed. The title is heading to North America and Europe in early 2026.

Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta “presents players with a core adventure in the long-running series – immediately following the story of Ys X – and adding the option to play while listening to the original soundtrack or a newly rearranged musical score.” Fans can look forward to strategic action-combat and a mapping system that encourages exploration.

Here’s some additional information:

Original: While it won’t come as too much of a surprise, Ys X: Proud Nordics is heading to Nintendo Switch 2 in the west. NIS America will be publishing in early 2026.

News about Ys X: Proud Nordics for North America and Europe was posted on a Facebook story from NIS America. A proper announcement should follow soon.

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter demo

GungHo and Falcom just announced a Nintendo Switch 2 version and demo for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter. The opening movie is also in.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version will only be available digitally. However, it will feature a higher frame rate and resolution compared to the Nintendo Switch release, along with faster loading times. There are also plans for an Upgrade Pass for those looking to move up from Nintendo Switch to Switch 2.

Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga

December 20: Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga is on the way to Nintendo Switch, it’s just been revealed. The game launches in 2025.

Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga originally released in 2010 for the PSP. It has never left Japan and has not appeared on new platforms since then – until now.

May 7: GungHo and Falcom have announced that Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter has locked in a release date of September 19, 2025.  Alongside the release date, more of the Japanese voice cast was detailed in this week’s Famitsu magazine.

The turn-based RPG was originally announced in a 2024 as The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 1st, and is a remake of 2004’s The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. This will mark the game’s first appearance on a Nintendo console and will include fully voice-acted cutscenes in English and Japanese, various changes to the gameplay, and a fully 3D art style.

Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Tita Russell, Zin Vathek

Two more character trailers for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter have dropped, and for today’s update, we have looks at Tita Russell and Zin Vathek. They are voiced by Brianna Knickerbocker and Vic Chao respectively.

Legend Heroes Beyond Horizon game-key card

We haven’t heard too many publishers commenting on why they’re using game-key cards on Nintendo Switch 2, but now NIS America has just done that – specifically for The Legend of Heroes: Trails Beyond the Horizon.

Many were happy to hear that the recent news that Nintendo’s new console would be getting the RPG. However, it did come with that game-key card caveat for physical collectors.
