Fire Emblem Heroes

New data provided by Sensor Tower offers new insight into the performance of Fire Emblem Heroes, which launched in February. The game seems to have done pretty well for itself so far.

Fire Emblem Heroes has been downloaded over ten million times worldwide across iOS and Android. The more interesting stat reveals that Nintendo has generated over $100 million from the game. $61.5 million is from iOS while another $53.4 million is from Android users.

Fire Emblem Heroes has been downloaded primarily by Japanese users, who make up 66 percent of the game’s userbase. The United States is next at 24 percent, followed by Canada at 6 percent.

A new summoning focus is now available in Fire Emblem Heroes. It’s called “Focus: Cavalry” and it features 5 star versions of Eldigan, Owlen, and Titania. There is also some new Special Quests related to the summoning focus which allows you to get some bonus Orbs and crystals.

The “Focus: Cavalry” summoning focus and quests will be available until August 5th.

Fire Emblem Heroes added in new content today highlighted by the addition of the new Grand Hero Battle against Berkut from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. View some footage below.

The new Grand Hero Battle will be against Berkut from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. You will be able to recruit a bronze or silver Berkut depending on the difficulty you challenge him at from hard to infernal. You will have until July 25th to obtain Berkut.

On the official Japanese Fire Emblem Heroes Twitter it has been announced that the next character players will be able to face off against is Berkut. Berkut will be available to battle starting tomorrow. The heroes that provide bonuses in the arena will also be switched to the recent Fire Emblem Echoes focus heroes. Good luck in trying to recruit Berkut tomorrow.

Fire Emblem Heroes added in new story content today in the form of “Bitter Enemies” in Chapter 12. We’ve posted some footage below.

Fire Emblem Heroes’ latest content update went live today and with it came some new story chapters. One of the enemies you face in these chapters is Clive from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. However, Clive is not one of the characters available on one of the two new summoning foci that also went live today. The last time this happened was with Clarisse and the New Mystery of the Emblem content update. She was later made available to players in a Grand Hero Battle. It’s likely that the same will happen with Clive, so get ready for a Grand Hero Battle with him sometime soon.

Celica’s Army & Alm’s Army summoning focuses are now live in Fire Emblem Heroes. The two summoning focuses will feature characters from the 3DS game, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

Celica’s Army summoning focus will feature 5 star versions of Leon, Saber, & Sonya. Alm’s Army summoning focus will feature 5 star versions of Mathilda, Gray, & Delthea.
Both of these summoning focus will be available from July 13th to July 28th.

A new story chapter called “Bitter Enemies” was also added with the summoning focuses. There are also some new Special Quests tied in with “Bitter Enemies”which can give you some Orbs. These quests will be available until July 28th as well.

Fire Emblem Heroes added a new challenge today from series artist and character designer Yamada Kotaro. Take a look at some footage below.

Quite a bit of Fire Emblem Heroes news today: first up, the Yamada Kotaro challenge is now live. Like the Kozaki Yusuke challenge before it, this pits you against teams used by Yamada Kotaro, an artist and character designer who’s  worked on the Fire Emblem series for a while now. For Heroes, he has designed Narcian and Lyn. If you beat the various challenge maps and the corresponding quests, you can earn a large variety of rewards.

New daily quests have also appeared. There are fairly simple, requiring you to defeat 10 and 20 enemies, respectively, and win two Arena duels.

Finally, the next new Grand Hero Battle has been announced. It will feature Berkut from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It will start sometime next week.
