Update: New DLC has been revealed as well. Koei Tecmo will release Dark Link, plus four new packs: the Master Quest pack, Majora’s Mask pack, Twilight Princess pack, and Ganon pack.

Koei Tecmo announced three new playable characters for Hyrule Warriors during a stage event at the Tokyo Game Show today. Cia, Volga, Wizzro – three enemies in the game – will be available sometime in the future as roster additions.

At this very moment, Koei Tecmo is demoing Cia. We’ll have the footage on the site shortly (though it will be low-quality unfortunately).

In North America, you can receive one of three costume sets for Hyrule Warriors by pre-ordering at Amazon, Best Buy, or GameStop. Information has now appeared about a similar situation in the UK.

You can reserve Hyrule Warriors on the Nintendo UK store to nab the Ocarina of Time costume set. Meanwhile, GAME is giving out Twilight Princess costume DLC. No word yet on the third and final set, Skyward Sword.

North America is getting the Hyrule Warriors Limited Edition… with one major caveat. The item will only be available at Nintendo World in New York City on September 26.

Koei Tecmo intends to reveal information about the next Hyrule Warriors update at the Tokyo Game Show next week. That news comes straight from the game’s official Twitter account, which also mentioned that a tournament will be held at the expo.

Two Hyrule Warriors updates have been released in Japan thus far. The first one only fixed a bug, but the second added new elements like a Challenge Mode.
