Splatoon will be undergoing a bit of maintenance on Wednesday. That makes sense, given that the big update is scheduled to arrive on the same day.

Splatoon’s online functions will be down starting at 5:50 PM PT / 8:50 PM ET. Everything will return at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET. That’s probably when the update will launch!

The Wii U and 3DS eShops will be undergoing a small round of maintenance later today. Both digital shops will be unavailable at the following times:

– 8 AM PT – 9 AM PT
– 11 AM ET – 12 PM ET
– 4 PM in the UK – 5 PM in the UK
– 5 PM in Europe – 6 PM in Europe

It’s a little bit of inconvenience, but luckily the downtime shouldn’t last too long.

All of Nintendo’s digital store offerings will be down for a few hours of maintenance on Monday. That includes the Wii U and 3DS eShops, Wii Shopping Channel, and DSi Shop. This is taking place between 4 PM ET and 8 PM ET / 1 PM PT and 5 PM PT.

Also, for what it’s worth, various game maintenance will be taking place on Monday as well. Here’s the full information on that:

Nintendo announced today that both the 3DS and Wii U versions of Super Smash Bros. will undergo maintenance on July 13th/14th, depending on your location. Both online play and leaderbords will be affected. The exact times are below:

Europe: July 13th (11PM) to July 14th (2AM)
UK: July 13th (10PM) to July 14th (1AM)
North America (EDT): July 13th (5PM to 8PM)
North America (PDT): July 13th (2PM to 5PM)
Japan: July 14th (6AM to 9AM)

Update: Nintendo has now removed any mention of this upcoming maintenance from its official page. I suppose that means there won’t be any maintenance after all!

Nintendo completed several hours of maintenance for both Wii U and 3DS a short while ago. However, additional maintenance will be taking place in just a matter of hours.

Below is a breakdown of the different times:

6 PM PT (Monday) – 4 AM PT (Tuesday)
9 PM ET (Monday) – 7 AM ET (Tuesday)
2 AM in the UK (Tuesday) – 12 PM in the UK (Tuesday)
3 AM in Europe (Tuesday) – 1 PM in Europe (Tuesday)

This maintenance period will affect online play, rankings, and other Internet-related elements.

The eShop is being absolutely inundated with traffic at the moment, as the new Smash Bros. DLC has released. If you’re experiencing issues, be patient! Normal service should be restored as traffic dies down.

Wii U and 3DS will be experiencing maintenance this coming Monday. It’ll be taking place between 6 PM ET and 8 PM ET (3 PM PT and 5 PM PT). Nintendo says that features such as online play, rankings, and other Internet elements will be affected on both of its platforms.

Also worth mentioning, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS will be down for a bit of maintenance tomorrow. Online play, rankings, and other aspects will be unavailable between 10:30 AM ET and 12 PM ET (7:30 AM PT and 9 AM PT).
