Peach Ball: Senran Kagura

During the Senran Kagura New Title Presentation 2018, first footage from Peach Ball: Senran Kagura was shown. Marvelous has also shared the game’s opening animation.

We have both videos below. Just be warned – this probably isn’t something you should watch at work.

Amazon Japan has added in a listing for Peach Ball: Senran Kagura. We’re able to get a first look at the limited edition packaging, boxart, and first screenshots as a result.

The limited edition includes a copy of the game, a physical version of Senran Kagura Reflexions with the additional characters and three new Fabulous Reflexions, and a downloadable content code. Pricing is set at 9,960 yen.

Finally, we have a few screenshots from Peach Ball: Senran Kagura below. They’re a bit on the small side, but they do give us an actual look at the game.

Peach Ball: Senran Kagura

Following its initial announcement a year ago, Peach Ball: Senran Kagura has resurfaced in this week’s issue of Famitsu. The magazine reveals a release date of December 13 and Japan and shares first actual details.

Here’s what we know:

Daemon X Machina will be added to the Switch arsenal in 2019. Recently, Japanese website 4Gamer pulled out the big guns to interview the producer Kenichiro Tsukuda (which we translated here). With new details on Femto, the Arsenal, and Outers popping up, I decided it’s time for me to look at the inners and shared what I discovered. Please enjoy!

Gal Metal

XSEED announced earlier in the month that a physical version of Gal Metal will be offered in North America. Marvelous followed up with news for Europe today, confirming similar plans.

Gal Metal: World Tour Edition will be sold in selected retail stores later this summer. It’ll include the full game plus the Encore DLC pack containing five new characters, each with their own unique story and song.

You’ll also be able to purchase Gal Metal on the eShop as well. The Encore DLC will be sold separately here.

Peach Ball: Senran Kagura was announced for Switch a year ago. There’s been little information since then, but an update is coming very soon.

The Senran Kagura New Title Presentation 2018 was announced today, which will indeed include an update on Peach Ball: Senran Kagura. It’ll be held on August 2 at the following times:

Daemon X Machina

Japanese website 4Gamer was recently about to speak with Daemon X Machina producer Kenichiro Tsukuda. The Switch exclusive was announced during E3 last month.

As the two sides chatted, Tsukuda spoke about the gameplay, graphics, world setting, and more. Find our full translation below.

Assault Gunners HD Edition

Following a surprise announcement earlier in the week, Assault Gunners HD Edition comes to Switch tomorrow. We have some footage below.

Assault Gunners HD Edition

Assault Gunners HD Edition was rated for Switch in Taiwan several months ago. It took quite awhile, but we finally have confirmation that the game is coming to the eShop. Even better, it’s launching this week.

Assault Gunners HD Edition, a mech based third-person shooter with support for all of Switch’s playstyles, releases on July 5. It’ll be sold at a 10% discount during launch week.

Three purchase options will be available:

Daemon X Machina, a new Switch game unveiled during last week’s Nintendo Direct, might be one of the most visually striking titles we’ve seen on the system as of late. According to producer Kenichiro Tsukuda, the style was chosen to help make the title stand out.

Tsukuda told Polygon:

“Games these days have a lot of the same color palette, and I just personally wasn’t very happy with it. The colors that you see are chosen specifically for each of the orders and missions that you go on, based on how we want you to feel when you’re playing.”

Daemon X Machina isn’t just unique for its visuals. Tsukuda said that the metal soundtrack extends into the sound effects.

“Shooting a gun sounds like a drum and there’s a laser blade that actually uses the sound of a guitar. So when you’re playing with a group of Arsenals, I was hoping to create a game that kind of felt like you were like having a jam session.”
